Parent Voice

The charts in the presentation illustrate the overwhelmingly positive responses from our parent voice questionnaires 2018/19. You may recall that we politely ask you, at each Parents’ Evening, to complete a short questionnaire comprising Ofsted’s ten ‘parent view’ questions. Additionally, we ask for a written comment where appropriate.

We have calculated the average number of responses across all year groups, in addition to the outcomes from each separate year group survey. We are delighted with the positive responses in all surveys, and that you recognise the hard work and dedication of teaching and support staff at St John Fisher Catholic High School.

Please rest assured that whenever we receive a negative comment, we consider the issue that has been raised and attempt to bring about further improvements to benefit our pupils. We would also address any issues raised verbally to ourselves during the evening.

Thank you for your continued support.

In the spring term 2015 we commissioned an external company called Kirkland Rowell, who specialise in collecting and reporting on parent, student and staff voice, to support us in carrying out our surveys. The questionnaires provided staff, students and parents with an opportunity for their views to be heard, considered and acted upon. Thank you to parents for taking time to complete the questionnaires. We appreciate your continued support and are now delighted to share the findings of the student and parent surveys with you.

You can find the student survey report in the ‘student’ section of our website.
