10R should be very proud of themselves after raising an amazing £62 through donating spare change every morning during form time.
After learning about CAFOD’s work in collective worship, students in 10R dug deep into their pockets and managed to raise this fantastic total.
Their form tutor Mr Burke said “I am so proud to have such selfless and charitable students in my form – they are a credit to the school.”
With this money, the students have decided to help a village in a Third World country by buying them a goat, period pack, football, vegetable garden and a honey bee farm. Students in 10R thoughtfully chose these items from the CAFOD website during collective worship hoping that they would provide health, food and entertainment for those less fortunate than us.
