Our annual summer BBQ took place on Wednesday 18th July. Students were invited for Outstanding contribution to School Life, amongst those where the senior prefects, the school band and choir. Outstanding attitude to learning, 100% Attendance and those with the highest achievement points. The students had an enjoyable afternoon.
Students and staff to part in the Race for Life. They raised £312.21. All year groups took part. The fastest time was recorded by Bradley Ryder from Year Ten. Well done to all those who took part and contributed.

The Year 8 took part in an inter-form competition 2017. The boys played football and the girls played rounders. It was the combined results of the football and rounders matches that gave the overall win to form 8F. The boys from 8J won the Paul Birchall trophy.

Well done to the group of Year 8 boys from Mrs. Cookson's English class for their collection of goods for The Brick. They are: Andrew, Lewis, Alfie, Arran, Adan, Declan, Tyler and Brandon. After reading, 'Stone Cold' in class, they collected to support some of the more vulnerable people in our community.
