St John Fisher Catholic High School will be involved in the Holocaust Memorial day on the 27th January 2017. We have been invited by Keith Trencher from Wigan Rotary to take part in the morning ceremonies in Leigh and in Wigan for the afternoon ceremony. The craft club is run on Monday after school 3 -4. Presently students from all year groups are creating crafts for the Christmas Fayre which will be held at lunch time on the 14th, 15th and 16th December. All profits will be donated to charity.

Our Year 7 and Year 8 Girls made it to the Quarter Finals in the Wigan Athletic Girls Football Competition. They lost against St. Peters 2-1. Well done to all the girls who took part.
The popular festival of the Day of the Dead is celebrated on 1st and 2nd November in Mexico so the Spanish department decided to conmemorate the event with a competition.
