On June 14th 2016, 45 Year 8 pupils visited Chester Zoo as part of their work on the conservation of endangered species. The pupils had a lesson with the zoo staff to learn about what the zoo does to help with conservation. Everyone had a great time.

Wigan based Robbie Johnson of Reaseheath College and a former apprentice at Crewe Alexandra will be heading to the USA this Summer to take up a prestigious football scholarship. The library currently has a football display to celebrate Euro 2016 and the start of the Premier League Reading Stars club. There is also a competition running for pupils to design their own football kit for the charity CLIC Sargent. Ask Mrs Long or Mrs Donnellan for more information.
