Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and caldron bubble.

Year Seven watched a touring production of ‘Macbeth’, which is considered to be one of  Shakespeare’s most famous plays. For many of our pupils this was their first experience of watching a live theatre performance of Shakespeare’s work. Performed by The Manchester Actors, this production brought the text and various themes and characters to life.

After watching this abridged version of the play, pupils were given the opportunity to  hot-seat MACBETH and LADY MACBETH and examine their contrasting personalities, thoughts and motives!
