Both ‘Greece’ and ‘Grease’ were on the agenda for our annual arts week. Among the array of activities awaiting students were traditional Greek dancing and the recounting of myths and legends from ancient Greece. Year Eight students visited Chester Zoo on a Geography department field trip. They have been studying endangered species as part of a unit on conservation. Congratulations to three of our Year Seven boys for their excellent performance in this year’s ‘Youth Speaks’ competition organised by the Rotary Club of Wigan. They talked on the topic of ‘Time Travel: Is it real?’ They certainly did our school proud. Well done Boys!

The Year Eleven students together with their parents, guardians, relatives and friends have come together to celebrate their last Mass at our school.
